OUR TEAM

Caroline Cumberbatch

Caroline commenced her career at The Design and Decoration Building in Pimlico, London. Her enthusiasm for design and the way in which interior spaces can influence how we feel has strengthened over her 20 plus years in the industry.

Alongside a pragmatic approach, the intent to uncover an aesthetic that reflects a client’s personality underpins every interaction. Generous with her time, Caroline loves to develop and uncover an interior concept that is both beautiful and a true expression of its inhabitants.

She draws on her own experiences as well as those of her clients to deliver spaces that are gorgeous to live in and draw people together.

Within the team, Caroline is an enthusiastic member and has been a regular design columnist. She is also a long time admirer of beautiful things.

In her spare time, you will most likely find Caroline enjoying time with her family and studying law.

Rebecca Kirkland

Rebecca’s design ethos encapsulates the tried and true design testament of form follows function.

When creating, Rebecca’s approach to a design concept stems from her client and practicality which is then adorned and layered with her appreciation of quality finishes, providing a collaborative result of visually satisfying form and function.

Rebecca’s intuitive sense and recognition of how spaces best work and flow, sits harmoniously alongside her belief that spaces hold a power and responsibility for how people feel, work and play. By working and engaging with her clients, Rebecca’s design outcomes reflect their individuality and persona.

Rebecca derives inspiration from her clients, the natural world around her, travels, a busy family life and a keen and learned eye for everything beautiful.

Claire Ferri

Claire has a wealth of expertise, enthusiasm and an unwavering desire to create beautiful, unique and considered spaces which speak of individuality, people and place.

It is her keen eye which Claire brings to each and every project, be it large or small. Her passion, left of centre vision and attention to detail resonates through her work which is imbued with an edgy, refined and fluid style.

A ceaseless creative, Claire is a perfectionist who never shies from a challenge and is driven by a personal aspiration to constantly evolve her craft.

A background in hospitality, amongst other things, has cultivated in Claire a deep understanding of the industry on both a functional and aesthetic level. The atmospheres created within her venues have earned her a strong presence on the growing Hobart scene with acclaimed Willing Bros, The Whaler, Ettie’s, Fondru’s and Gastown East all part of her swiftly expanding portfolio of hospitality, residential, health and wellbeing, education, retail and commercial projects to date.

When not designing, you’ll most likely find Claire immersed in all things artful. Researching, reading, watching, listening, seeking and absorbing it, pumping out tunes on the stereo and hanging with friends, her husband and two dogs.

Anna Weber

The most recent addition to this dynamic design team, Anna has a great love and appreciation of the built environment and how it can impact our daily moods and functions.

Interior design and architecture have always captured her imagination and she decided to further explore this with the completion of a Batchelor of Design, Interior Design in 2002 in which she attained honours from the University of Technology in Sydney. After which, amongst other design pursuits, her love of interiors and the psychology of space led her to a national visual merchandising role.

In most recent years, Anna’s time has been devoted to her family, raising two gorgeous children, developing her bespoke jewellery label and the redesigning of her own wonderful home.

Anna brings to Bury Kirkland Ferri a desire to design spaces that are inviting, functional and beautiful.
